Bruckheimer says 'Bad Boys 3' script in progress

Rumors about a third "Bad Boys" flick started to surface last year, and it now looks like the sequel is more than likely going to happen. Smith and Lawrence both want one, and last thing we heard, Columbia hired Peter Craig to write the script for "Bad Boys 3." Now producer Jerry Bruckheimer weighs in on the subject.

ComingSoon recently asked the man about the project, and Bruckheimer simply said, "It's a wish and a hope and a dream. We've been working on a screenplay, which is excellent. It's an idea Will gave us, so hopefully, it will come to fruition, we would love it to." So yeah, it's defintiely going to happen.

We may have to wait for it though, because Bay is busy with "Transformers 3" and Will Smith seems to be tacking "Men In Black 3" soon. Needless to say, "Bad Boys 3" will probably head to theaters soon enough. Bruckheimer has "Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time" and "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" coming soon.
