Lawrence says 'Bad Boys 3' is real. Yes, we know...

Martin Lawrence recently told MTV that he is certain "Bad Boys 3" is going to happen, but that's kind of old news already. Well, kind of... Back in August last year, Columbia announced that Peter Craig was recruited to write a first draft for the third installment in the popular action series.

Back then, that was the only thing anyone really knew about the project, but I was pretty sure the old gang would return if a sequel was really going to happen. So now, according to Lawrence, "Bad Boys 3" is really, totally, definitely coming to the big screen soon. How soon? That's the question.

Michael Bay is a busy man these days, but Lawrence told MTV Bay said he's on board. Apprently, Will Smith is as well. "Any time you can get Big Willie to come out and talk about doing a third installment of a hot movie like 'Bad Boys,' you have to take notice," Lawrence said.

Anyway, we'll hear more about this for sure in the near future. As far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't mind seeing the boys get back to action for another round. I really enjoyed the first two flicks, and if they all do indeed got back together, I imagine we'd be in for some ridiculous big-screen entertainment.
