New 'Sex and the City 2' trailer stinks

The brand-new feature trailer for "Sex and the City 2" gives away the entire plot of the upcoming Michael Patrick King-directed sequel, and that's exactly why it stinks. No, I am not a "SATC" expert and I'm certainly not a big fan, but I've seen enough episodes to understand what's going on in this preview. Needless to say, it looks ridiculous, utterly predictable and, well... quite repetitive as well. Check it out below.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon are back in action, and this time, the girls hit the desert. Carrie seems to be bored with Big (Chris Noth) already, Samantha still sleeps around a lot, and the rest of the girls are messing with parental responsibilities. Nothing new here, I know. It all looks and feels lame, and it all opens in theaters May 27, 2010. Who's liking this? Anyone?

Franck Tabouring, do not underestimate Sex and the City fans! I predict that the movie will make at least 45-70 mln $ on its opening weekend! for fans, this movie is an absolute "must" see! Call it how you want, i liked the trailer and in my opinio the trailer doesnt spoil the plot (like the first did) but it gave the fans some hints what's coming. The movie is not supposed to have a big story but to entertain the fans, just like the 1-6 season of the original series did!
I certainly don't underestimate them. I just don't like the trailer:) I am happy you liked it.
I Love the new 'SATC' trailer and for one this movie doesn't seem at all. it seems like it going to and WILL be a smash hit. the trailer DOES not stink its amazing and the plot isn't predictable. Maybe if you watched MORE of the series you'd understand the these people are VERY EXTREMELY capable of make a decent Box Office HIT SEQUEL Sex and The City 2 is going to do great. "Critics" like you wouldn't understand a good trailer if it bit you in the ass. So I for one think this trailer deserves some love.
It's hilarious how you folks seem to care more about how much the film makes than how good it is. But then again, I guess that's exactly why so many mediocre or even bad films make so much money these days. And Moran, let me educate you: it's ever about understanding trailers. What is there to understand. I think it is utterly hilarious that so many people out there do NOT understand that reviews or any comments about anything movie-related is all about personal opinions. I understand you have absolutely no expectations, but I for one expect a little more from a movie these days.
