Justin Timberlake joins Cameron Diaz movie

Justin Timberlake will reunite with Cameron Diaz... on the big screen in Jake Kasdan's upcoming comedy "Bad Teacher," which also stars Molly Shannon, Eric Stonestreet, Lucy Punch and Jason Segel. Columbia Pictures is developing the project.

Diaz will play the leading lady, a foul-mouthed, gold-digging middle school teacher who gets dumped by her boyfriend and launches into a nasty battle with a colleague (Punch) for the affections of a wealthy substitute teacher (Timberlake).

The Hollywood Reporter says Molly Shannon and Eric Stonestreet are also part of the cast, as is Jason Segel. Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky penned the script. It must be kind of weird to have an ex-girlfriend play a role like that in the same movie.
