Shitty 'Marmaduke' trailer debuts online

Are you ready for the next crappy dog movie? Oh it's coming, folks! Tom Dey's "Marmaduke" hits theaters June 4, 2010, and a new trailer for the family flick has just debuted online. What can I say? Check out the stinking preview after the jump. Beware though: it may cause your eyes and ears to die a little. The film is based on the popular comic strip, and in case I haven't mentioned it already, it looks shitty.
Owen Wilson voices the lead character, a Great Dane who gets in trouble all the time. That's as far as I can get with story. Also on board is George Lopez, who gets to voice yet another stupid animal. The trailer below isn't funny, and I'm already dreading the movie's opening day. Voice cast also includes Emma Stone, Ron Perlman, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Fergie. Yawn... time to wrap this up.

It looks like shit.
The end of the trailer is so horrible I nearly bulged my eyes out of my skull. The big dog starts dancing, and to my horror, every single dog starts dancing, and in unbelievably impossible perfect time. First, it's impossible to dance perfectly like someone else. Second, the trailer brings in every cliche from the book. PG rated, comedic pauses, the Woosh sound effect, otherwise good stars disgracing themselves, etc. I've heard the Woosh sound effect soooo many times in a trailer that by teenage age, I could imitate that sound with my mouth almost perfectly, and I'm a very aspiring voice actor. Third, it's completely disgraceful to know that computers created that soul destroying scene. The CGI looks horribly fake. I've seen graphics on Xbox 360 games that looked better. It's so bad that in order to calm myself down, I need to immerse myself in the past. 1993 to be exact, when the art of making special effects was undeniably awesome. When Jurrasic Park came out, everyone was amazed at how jaw-dropping the dinosaurs looked. They were mean, quick, ripped people apart, and looked realistic. It's CGI at it's absolute finest. Seeing CGI dogs dancing hurts me.
I don't know what you guys are talking about- this looks amazing! Did you see the part with the ejector seat! OMG!
