Jennifer Aniston in 'The Switch' trailer

"Blades of Glory" helmers Josh Gordon and Will Speck have a new comedy coming out soon, and it's titled "The Switch" (formerly "The Baster"). A new trailer for the film starring Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston has debuted online, and you can give it a look after the jump. It looks kind of funny, and maybe even a tad charming. It also boasts an interesting cast. Jeff Goldblum and Patrick Wilson co-star. Release date is set for Aug. 20, 2010.
Based on Jeffrey Eugenides' short story, the film follows an insecure man (Bateman) who discovers his best friend's plans to have an artifical insemination and secretly replaces her donor's semen with his own. Allan Loeb, whose credits include "21" and "Things We Lost in the Fire," wrote the screenplay. Bateman is currently one my favorite actors out there, and I believe he and Goldblum can make this thing work. Let's hope Aniston will be better than in her last films.
