Sigourney Weaver goes all vampire on us

Sigourney Weaver goes from blue to blood sucker. The "Avatar" actress will star in Amy Heckerling's upcoming romantic horror comedy "Vamps," and according to Heat Vision, she will play a vampire queen. Okay then... Heckerling wrote the script, about two young vampires who are enjoying their nightlife until they get caught up with love and have to make a choice that could mess with their immortality and all.

Word is Weaver plays a character named Ciccerus, a nasty vamp who turned the two young blood lovers (played by Alicia Silverstone and Krysten Ritter, by the way) into who they are now. Yes, all this sounds incredibly romantic. I guess Weaver's character will kick the chicks' butts and tell them love ain't too good for vamps. Or something along those lines. We'll see how it turns out.
