Dwayne Johnson in 'Faster' first look

Dwayne Johnson is taking a short break from making crappy kids flicks to get into the revenge thriller genre. He stars in George Tillman Jr.'s upcoming action movie "Faster," and the folks at USA Today released the fist official still from the movie. As you can see above, it shows The Rock in trouble. Don't worry, whatever it is, I am sure he finds a way to kick himself out of the mess.

About "Faster" then. The film follows a dude named Driver, an ex-con who heads out to avenge the death of his brother, who was murdered in a heist gone wrong years eariler. Joe and Tony Gayton wrote the screenplay. Co-starring are Billy Bob Thornton and Carla Gugino, who play cops trying to stop Johnson's character. "Faster" has a release date set for Nov. 19, 2010. Tillman Jr. also directed last year's "Notorious."
