Quentin Tarantino talks about his Western project

Quentin Tarantino always has some idea for some film project, and so far, I'm glad he turned some of these ideas into reality. His next idea? As you may have heard already, he would love to do a Western.
Of course, it would have to be according to his style. The details he has spilled about his Western idea so far, however, sound more than intriguing. Just recently, he briefly chatted about it with NY Daily News.
"I'd like to do a Western. But rather than set it in Texas, have it in slavery times. With that subject that everybody is afraid to deal with. Let's shine that light on ourselves," Tarantino told the newspaper.
"You could do a ponderous history lesson of slaves escaping on the Underground Railroad. Or, you could make a movie that would be exciting. Do it as an adventure. A spaghetti Western that takes place during that time."
The title? Tarantino said he would like to call it "A Southern." Let's see and wait what happens, but with Tarantino, you never know. We may indeed see "A Southern" on the big screen in a few years.
