De Niro, Weaver for Cortes' 'Red Lights'

Rodrigo Cortes, director of "Buried," is prepping his next film "Red Lights," and Robert De Niro and Sigourney Weaver are both attached to star in the psycho thriller. Cortes wrote and will direct the movie.

Variety says "Red Lights" follows Weaver as a psychologist who studies paranormal activity and eventually clashes with a famous psychic (De Niro). "Lights" will shoot in Spain and Canada soon.

With "Buried," Cortes has shown he has what it takes to turn a cool script into an intense thriller without spending that much money, so I'm definitely looking forward to this one. Guy's got a bright future.
