New 'Scott Pilgrim vs. the World' photos

Trying to win over someone's heart is a routine for Michael Cera. He attempts it in "Youth in Revolt," which opens this week, and he tries it in Edgar Wright's "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World," which is also slated for release some time this year.

Universal has released two official stills from the upcoming action comedy, and you can see them above and below. Based on the graphic novel by Bryan Lee O’Malle, the film centers on a guy who has to defeat his new girlfriend’s seven ex-boyfriends.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Brandon Routh and Jason Schwartzman co-star. I've never read "Scott," but I hear it's great. Many folks out there are also getting incredibly excited about the flick, and I'm more than happy to join them.
