Ginnifer Goodwin gets 'Something Borrowed'

The charming Ginnifer Goodwin is in talks to star in a new romantic comedy titled "Something Borrowed," based on the debut novel by Emily Giffin. It looks like the project is set to start shooting this spring. The plot follows a Manhattan lawyer who ends up in bed with her best friend's fiance after her 30th birthday. Variety reports Luke Greenfield, who also helmed "The Girl Next Door," will direct the chick flick.
Jennie Urman wrote the script. Goodwin, who also stars on "Big Love," recently starred in "A Single Man." She also delivered a cute but also rather annoying performance in "He's Just Not That Into You." Wonder where else you've seen her? Well, her acting credits also include "Walk the Line," "Mona Lisa Smile" and "Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!" "Ed" and "In the Land of Women" are also among her acting works.
