Michael Bay gives brief 'Transformers 3' update

Michael Bay is busy working on "Transformers 3," even though he said a while ago that he would take a break from all the explosive robots. The sequel is on track for a 2011 release, and here's what's new:
On his site, Bay announced he is currently location scouting for the third installment in the popular action series. "Busy scouting - Chicago, Detroit, and Washington D.C. for Transformers last week," he wrote.
"Things are going well. The script is feeling very different from the other two," he wrote. As he announced already, the third film will apparenlty feature less robots and focus a bit more on character this time.
Of course, I won't believe that until I see it, but just reading about it at least lifts my spirits a bit; I truly hated "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." Bay also recently promised "a much cooler landscape.”
As usual, you can read more about "Transformers" on michaelbay.com
