Anton Yelchin talks to Mel Gibson's 'The Beaver'

Anton Yelchin is the latest to join Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster in Foster's latest directing gig "The Beaver," a dark comedy for Summit Entertainment. Kyle Killen penned the script.
Gibson gets to play a crazy dude who starts walking around with a beaver puppet, which he treats just like a human. Foster will star as his (poor) wife, and Variety says Yelchin plays their son. Jennifer Lawrence co-stars as well.
Yelchin recently appeared in "Terminator Salvation" and "Star Trek." His credits also include "Charlie Bartlett" and "Alpha Dog."
The guy's got some talent, and I hope we get to see him in more leading roles in the future. These side roles work for know, but he's got what it takes to go bigger. He's got a larger role in the upcoming "Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac."
