Woody Harrelson in funny 'Defendor' trailer

Woody Harrelson in Defendor

Peter Stebbings' "Defendor" starring Woody Harrelson will be screening at the Toronto Film Festival this month, and a trailer for the comedy/drama has debuted online. Check it out after the jump; it's really intriguing and occasionally quite funny as well. I can only hope the flick will find a distributor and we'll get to see it in theaters soon enough.

Harrelson plays Arthur Poppington, a man who turns into a self-made superhero at night and runs afoul of the law when he lays a beating on an undercover cop who was abusing a young prostitute named Kat. Always the hero, Arthur takes Kat to his secret hideout hoping she can help him find his arch-nemesis, the diabolical Captain Industry.

Also starring are Kat Dennings, Elias Koteas and Sandra Oh. "Defendor" looks like a very heartwarming, comic drama filled with solid performances, and it's something I would really like to experience. BTW, Harrelson will next be seen in "Zombieland."
