Oh no! 'Big Momma's House 3' finds a writer

l'm not even going to waste a single minute wondering why in the heck Fox decided to go ahead and develop "Big Momma's House 3," but the truth is, the unecessaey sequel is going to happen, and it looks like the project is slowly coming together.
Randi Mayem Singer, who wrote the upcoming "Tooth Fairy," is on board to pen the script for the third installment in the series starring Martin Lawrence as an undercover agent who dresses like a big lady.
Plot details have not been announced yet, according to Variety. Raja Gosnell's first "Big Momma's House" grossed $117 million domestically, while the first sequel "Big Momma's House 2" bagged $70 million.
No, I see absolutely no reason to develop another sequel, and this is definitely yet another sign (there are so many already) that Hollywood is running out of original ideas. Yeah... what else is new?
Big Momma will be back, and we'll have to deal with it. At least I hope they'll get Lawrence to return for the lead. If they don't, I'll seriously consider skipping this one.
