Neve Campbell officially boards 'Scream 4'

Like it or not, but "Scream 4" is coming to the big screen, and even though it was first rumored she would not return to reprise her role, Neve Campbell has now officially signed for the fourth installment in the horror series. Sidney will be back!

Also on board are David Arquette and Courteney Cox. Dimension's "Scream 4" is the first film in a new "Scream" trilogy," and production will kick off next year. Wes Craven is also in talks to direct the film, which Kevin Williamson is writing.

Campbell can be seen on "The Philanthropist." Other than that, she hasn't done anything huge recently. Her big-screen credits include the interesting "Panic" and less interesting "Wild Things."

Even though I enjoyed the first two "Scream" flicks because of their entertainment value, the third one didn't really impress me much. I can't say I'm excited about No. 4, but at least the main cast will return. That's a good thing, for sure.
