As "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is moving ahead, people start to wonder who all will be back for the fourth installment in the popular adventure series. The latest to jump back on board: Geoffrey Rush.
At least that's what the Oscar-winning actor told MTV recently. Rush previously played Barbossa in the first three flicks, and he said he'll be back and that the screenwriters are currently working on the story.
"They're waiting for the screenplay writers to put together something that's beyond the trilogy, take it off into a new direction so that it's fresh and hopefully really interesting for an audience, that they're not going to just sausage-machine out something else, which wouldn't be so good."
Also returning is Johnny Depp as Capt. Jack Sparrow. Last thing heard about this one, Rob Marshall was in talks to direct "Tides." Gore Verbinski, who directed the first flicks, won't be back to reprise his directing role.
Rush recently appeared in "Elizabeth: The Golden Age." He also recently completed "The Warrior's Way."
