'Boondock Saints II' trailer and release notes

Boondock Saints II

Troy Duffy is back in action with "Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day," a sequel to his 1999 action flick "The Boondock Saints," and Apparition will handle the film's domestic release on Oct. 30, 2009.

Much like the first film, the follow-up follows twins Connor (Sean Patrick Flanery) and Murphy (Norman Reedus) as they get rid of a bunch of gangsters. Specifically, this time they avenge the death of a beloved priest.

The cast also includes the awesome Clifton Collins Jr. ("Extract") and Julie Benz, Billy Connolly and Peter Fonda. Am action-packed trailer for the film was released today as well, and you can check it out after the jump.

Get some more info about the film at its Sony Web site.

What a load of garbage this looks like. What's up with Sean Patrick Flannery's face? It doesn't even look like him.

I feel so sad to read all this crap about SPFs. I, too, was shocked to see the difference in BDS2 and thought they had replaced him with a lookalike, but it seems that he WAS in a car accident - NOT the one Norman Reedus was in - and they have had to rebuild his face (note you don't see SPF naked in this movie, save from his back). I feel so sorry for the guy and all he can read on the web is how much he has lost his looks. What a superficial society we are....
