Anderson to develop 3D 'Three Musketeers'

Paul W.S. Anderson, the man who recently brought us "Death Race," is currently developing a 3D version of "The Three Musketeers," this according to Heat Vision.
Anderson wrote the script with Andrew Davies, known for his work on "Bridget Jones's Diary," "Brideshead Revisited" and "The Tailor of Panama." The idea is to create a "Musketeers" flick with lots of character and romance.
The story, of course, is that of d’Artagnan, a young man who teams up with Athos, Porthos and Aramis, three musketeers who live by the motto “All for one and one for all!” Plot details are being kept under wraps for now.
Anderson said he wanted to create a modern version of the classic tale. It will be a film filled with action, adventure and romance, he said. A release is currently planned for 2011.
Anderson has many projects coming up, including "Pandorum," on which he acts as producer. He's also got "Resident Evil: Afterlife" and "The Warded Man" in development.
I got to be honest with you; I never thought I would see Anderson do a 3D "Musketeers" flick. Here's to hoping he won't screw it all up.
