Zach Galifianakis to star in 'Kind of a Funny Story'

I'm glad every time I hear about a casting story involving funny guy "Zach Galifianakis." He just dominated "The Hangover" with his incredibly funny performance, and I can't wait to see him on the big screen again. Well, he's certainly keeping himself awful busy these days.
Galifianakis is now in talks to join "It's Kind of a Funny Story," a dramedy by Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden, the team behind "Half Nelson." Emma Roberts from "Hotel for Dogs" may also board the film, which will shoot later this year.
Based on Ned Vizzini's novel, the flick follows a teenager who is sent to a mental institution after falling victim to depression. Once there, he ends up in the adult ward, where meets a bunch of strange people, including a teenage girl.
The Hollywood Reporter says Galifianakis would portray an adult in the insitution, and I agree that sounds hilarious already. I wonder what they will make him do this time. Or could his character be of a more dramatic nature? I'm intrigued.
After "The Hangover," Galifianakis signed on to star in "Dinner for Schmucks." He will also be in "Due Date," and he may return for "The Hangover 2." You will also soon see him in "Youth in Revolt."
