Jessica Biel, Sharlto Copley to join 'The A-Team'

Yes! Last week we found out "District 9" star Sharlto Copley got an offer to play Capt. "Howling Mad" Murdock in Joe Carnahan's upcoming "The A-Team" flick, and it turns out he is now in final negotiations to join the big-screen adaptation of the poular television series. That's awesome news.
Also in talks to board the flick is Jessica Biel. Variety says she will play an ex of Templeton "Faceman" Peck (Bradley Cooper). Liam Neeson is already on board to play Col. John "Hannibal" Smith, and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson will be playing B.A. Baracus.
Skip Woods ("Swordfish," "X-Men Origins: Wolverine") wrote the sctipt, and Ridley Scott will produce. Just like the TV show, the film follows this team of wrongly convicted veterans who break out of prison and begin to run around protecting good people from villains.
As for Copley, he certainly delivered a solid performance in the hit sci-fi film "District 9," and I think it will be very interesting to see how he performs in this big Hollywood blockbuster. This role obviously heads into a totally different direction than the one he had in "District 9."
Biel, who recently starred in "Easy Virtue," has "Nailed" and "Valentine's Day" coming up soon. She'll definitely make this "A-Team" film look better.
