'The Final Destination' takes overseas box office

New Line Cinema's "The Final Destination" took the top spot at the North American box office this weekend with an estimated $17.3 million in ticket sales. The horror flick is currently playing in 28 markets in 3D and standard format, and it reached a total gross of $55.3 million.

At No. 2, Quentin Tarantino's acclaimed WWII drama "Inglourious Basterds" finished with $9.4 million, bringing its international total gross to $99 million. Following in third place with $8.4 million was Pixar's "Up," which lifted it cume to $181.3 million.

Meanwhile, "District 9" took home $8.1 million at No. 4. The sci-fi thriller about aliens living as refugees on Earth brought its cumulative gross to $35.8 million.

Two films shared the fifth spot at the box office this weekend: "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" and German adventure "Wickie und die starken Manner" both picked up about $7 million. "Ice Age" reached a total of $670.2 million.

Other results from the overseas box office: "The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3" collected $3.9 million for a $56.2 million total; "The Ugly Truth" pulled $3.9 million also; "9" picked up $2.7 million; and "The Proposal" generated $3.6 million.

Man i can't still believe that ice age is making more money than up I know that it's a franchise but still ice age 3 was bad movie andPixar's UP is way more better than that.
