Tasty 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs' clip hits

I've liked everything I've seen so far from Phil Lord and Chris Miller's upcoming 3D animated adventure "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs," including this new clip you can check out after the jump. It's action-packed and funny, and it really looks it's built specifically for the 3D effect. Don't worry though, because it's still enjoyable to watch in 2D.

Based on Judi and Ron Barrett’s popular children’s book, the flick follows an inventor whose latest experiment converts water to food. As a result, food starts falling from the sky just like rain, dropping his small town into chaos.

In this clip, lead character Flint tries to stop a big, tasty spaghetti tornado. Anna Faris, Bill Hader, Mr. T, James Caan, Andy Samberg, Tracy Morgan and Bruce Campbell are part of the movie's voice cast. "Cloudy" will invade theaters Sept. 18, 2009. Enjoy.
