Jason Statham is getting some company in Elliott Lester's upcoming London-based thriller "Blitz," as Aidan Gillen and David Morrissey have signed on to join the project.

Adapted from Ken Bruen's novel by Nathan Parker, the film follows a tough cop assigned to track down a serial killer who targets police officers at a South London police station.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Mark Ryland, Zawe Ashton are also part of the cast, and Paddy Considine was also in talks to join the film.

Gillen starred as Mayor Thomas Carcetti on "The Wire," and he recently appeared in "12 Rounds." As for Morrissey, his credits include "The Other Boleyn Girl," the TV series "State of Play," and the upcoming "Centurion."
