Nicolas Cage goes 3D in 'Drive Angry'

Everybody and everything is going 3D these days, and so is Nicolas Cage, who has signed on to star in "Drive Angry," a 3D action flick Patrick Lussier is set to direct. Nu Image/Millenium Films, the company behind the upcoming "Rambo V," is developing the project.
According to Heat Vision, "Angry" focuses on a man (Cage) who's chasing the people who killed his daughter and kidnapped her baby. Lussier and Todd Farmer ("Jason X") wrote the screenplay. They previously collaborated on Lussier's "My Bloody Valentine."
Cage was last seen in "Knowing," and he will soon be returning to the big screen in "Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans" and "Kick-Ass." He's also got "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" and "Riot" in development.
As for Lussier, he also previously directed "Dracula 2000" and "White Noise 2: The Light." This is the first 3D project for Nu Image/Millenium Films, and considering the recent success of the format, it sure won't be the last. How about a "Rambo 3D," for instance?
