The Incredible Hulk meets the Avengers

While I did not entirely enjoy Ang Lee's "Hulk" from a few years ago, I admit I had quite a blast watching "The Incredible Hulk" from director Louis Leterrier, whose credits also include the so-so "Danny the Dog" and okay "Transporter 2."

Well, according to Moviehole, Leterrier wouldn't mind stepping behind the camera for a "Hulk" sequel. "Sure. I'd return to it. I have some ideas. So many ideas for so many things," Leterrier told the Web site.

He also mentioned that if a second film would happen, he would love for Edward Norton to reprise the title role. Currently there are no specific plans for a sequel, although I honestly wouldn't mind seeing one.

We may also see the Hulk in the upcoming "The Avengers" movie, and that brings me to the second part of this post. During a recent interview with MTV, director Matthew Vaughn ("Layer Cake," "Stardust") said he would love to direct the flick.

"[I'd] love to do 'The Avengers,'" he said. "I grew up watching superhero films, so I want to make superhero films."

Vaughn as "Avengers" director would defintely get me excited. I really enjoyed his stuff so far, and I am really looking forward to his upcoming film, "Kick-Ass."
