It's true! 'Rambo V' is now officially in the works!

Earlier this year, Sylvester Stallone already mentioned he would soon get ready to do another "Rambo." Now, word comes from Variety that Nu Image/Millennium Films has officially greenlit a fifth installment. That's right, John Rambo will soon be blowing up plenty of new shit on the big-screen.
This time around, Rambo will head out to rescue a kidnapped young girl close to the U.S.-Mexico border. On his mission, he will battle a whole bunch of nasty human traffickers and drug lords. And yes, Stallone will be back to direct and star in the fifth film.
Last year's "Rambo" was produced on a $50 million budget and took home $42.7 million domestically. I didn't enjoy that one all too much, primarily because it was really way too brainless and a tad too tasteless in my book. In other words, watching Rambo kill hundreds of evil soldiers really bored me to death this time.
Stallone is currently wrapping up "The Expendables," another action flick. The film follows a group of tough mercenaries who infiltrate a South American country to overthrow its dictator and free its population.
