Robin Williams is 'Wedding Banned'

Oscar winner Robin Williams enters the territory of big-screen weddings again, and let me tell you right now, I sincerely hope it won't as crappy as 2007's "License to Wed," which he also starred in.
The Hollywood Reporter says Robins has joined Touchstone's upcoming comedy "Wedding Banned," about a divorced couple kidnapping their daughter on her wedding day to prevent her from doing the same mistake they did.
Wait! What? A couple kidnapping their daughter? Oh, I feel we're off to a bad start already with this one. I hear the film will also focus on how the parents reconnect while eluding cops and one pissed-off groom.
Jack Amiel and Michael Begler wrote the script, but no director is attached to the project at this stage. Williams, who can be seen in "Shrink" and "World's Greatest Dad," also has "Old Dogs" coming up.
A couple of weeks ago I revisited "Mrs. Doubtfire," and wow, those really were the Robin Williams days. Today, all he gets is a role in a comedy in which he gets attacked by penguins in a zoo (as you can see in the "Old Dogs" trailer).
