Unused 'Inglourious Basterds' poster is amazing!

The official movie posters we've seen for Quentin Tarantino's box office hit "Inglourious Basterds" were okay, but here's an unused one-sheet I'm sure would've made a much better poster down the road. It was posted at Posterwire.com, and you can check it out after the jump. It's a shame nobody did anything with this one.

This sheets was created by James Goodridge. In an interview with Posterwire, he had this to say about his work:

I came up with 6 designs one of which became the favourite of all concerned. However at this time the movie studio decided they’d like to try building it in photoshop. A few weeks later I was asked to produce an illustrated comp. I should mention how important it is to have a creative director who believes in the illustration option and I was so fortunate that this was the case. The comp was approved with only minor changes but we heard nothing more.

Well, that sucks. Someone could at least called back and told him his piece was awesome. Anyway, admire this work of art below. It's worth it!
