So-so motion poster for 'Pandorum' hits

In case you've missed it, motion posters are the new cool thing to promote films online. They're essentially flash vidoes or other similar files that feature a moving poster. While we've seen a couple of great ones of this kind recently, I've also come across some rather lame ones.

Take the new motion poster for "Pandorum." It's cool they put the effort into making one, but to be honest, this one's getting pretty annoying after, say, three seconds. You can check it out for yourself after the jump, and let me know what you think. I'm not impressed.

Directed by Christian Alvart, "Pandorum" follows a pair of crew members aboard a spaceship who wake up with no knowledge of their mission or their identities. Ben Foster, Dennis Quaid, Cam Gigandet, Eddie Rouse and Cung Lee star. The film will open Sept. 25, 2009.
