Japanese '2012' trailer boasts new footage

A couple of months ago, we saw the first full trailer for Roland Emmerich's next action spectacle "2012," and that preview contained quite a few shots of the world coming to end in 2012. Now a new Japanese trailer has hit the Web, and if you choose to watch it below, you'll get to see a whole lot of new footage and more destruction.

The film focuses on a little group of people struggling with the large-scale cataclysm ensuing from the end of the world in 2012. John Cusack, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Danny Glover and Amanda Peet star.

Just like the previous ones, this trailer for Emmerich's film looks kind of spectacular of course, although that doesn't mean much. The actual films usually turn out to be a big disapointment. Then again, we all know there is nothing realistic to find in his movies, so why not go ahead and simply enjoy all the destruction of our lovely planet?
