Michael Cera is at it again in Miguel Arteta's upcoming comedy "Youth in Revolt," and a first trailer for the upcoming film has just debuted online. Check it out after the jump, because it looks intriguing. Flick is the big-screen adaptation of C.D. Payne’s novel of the same title.
"Youth in Revolt" is the irreverent story about the wild adventures of a teenage boy named Nick Twisp, who meets the girl of his dreams while on a family vacation and has to turn his life and the lives of all those around him upside down in order to be with her.
The film's got an interesting setup as you can seen in the trailer below, although I fear Cera will be playing the same type of character he's been playing for a while now. Or not? Ray Liotta, Steve Buscemi, Justin Long, Fred Willard, Zach Galifianakis, Erik Knudsen and Portia Doubleday co-star.
Gustin Nash, screenwriter of “Charlie Bartlett,” penned the script with Arteta. Arteta’s directing credits include 2002’s “The Good Girl,” starring Jennifer Aniston. "Revolt" hits theaters Oct. 30, 2009.
