Peter Chelsom packs for 'Last Vegas'

Peter Chelsom, who last directed the so-so "Hannah Montana: The Movie," will be heading to Las Vegas for his next directing gig "Last Vegas," a comedy for CBS Films. Yeah, it kind of sounds like a "The Hanover" type of movie.

Written by Dan Fogelman, the film follows four semi-retired baby boomers who plan to visit Las Vegas when one of them, a lawyer in his 60s, decides to get married. Who know what those guys will get themselves into.

"These are four guys from Coney Island, who, when we meet them, think they are invincible," Chelsom told Variety. "I think the film should attract four great stars in that age range."

Chelsom also directed 2004's "Shall We Dance," a film I admit I really enjoyed. Heck, I even had a great time watching his "Serendipity." Fogelman's credits, by the way, include "Cars," "Fred Claus" and "Bolt."
