Brad Pitt, Will Ferrell & Jonah Hill join 'Oobermind'

Will Ferrell, Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill have joined and Robert Downey Jr. has left the voice cast of DreamWorks Animation's upcoming comedy project "Oobermind," which was written by Alan J. Schoolcraft and Brent Simons.

Variety says the film follows a supervillain (Ferrell) who slips into a deep crisis after he finally defeats his rival Metro Man (Pitt). As a result, he creates a new hero (Hill) who has evil intentions himself.

Also on-board of "Oobermind" is Tina Fey, who will be voicing a reporter assigned to provide coverage of the whole situation. The film, which was originally known as "Master Mind," is set for release in November 2010.

Tom McGrath, who co-directed "Madagascar" and "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa," will helm the film, which will also be released in 3D. I'm not a fan the two zoo animal flicks, but I like the premise of "Oobermind." I hope it will be ooberfunny as well.
