Uma Thurman's 'Motherhood' gets release date

Freestyle Releasing plans to release Katherine Dieckman's indie comedy "Motherhood" this coming October. The film will open in limited theaters first and expand later on.
Dieckman wrote and directed the film, which follows Uma Thurman as a mom struggling with the preparations for her 6-year-old daughter’s birthday party.
Also starring are Anthony Edwards, who plays her husband, and Minnie Driver, who's on-board as her best friend. Thurman's recent credits include "The Accidental Husband" and "The Life Before Her Eyes."

I saw Motherhood at the Sundance Film Festival. The audience loved it and so did I. It made me laugh, cry and think. Uma's cool and the two kids are adorable - especially the little girl. There's also a great dance scene with Uma and a delivery guy that's worth the price of admission.
