'Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs' tops overseas b.o.

"Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" delivered a massive international debut this weekend with an estimated $148 million in ticket sales. Domestically, the animated sequel drew $42.5 million.
At a distant No. 2, Michael Bay's "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" picked up $55.3 million, lifting its overseas total to $298 million. The action flick has collected $591.5 million to date.
Meanwhile, Todd Phillips' comedy "The Hangover" picked up another $8.7 million in 30 markets, bringing its cumulative gross to $61.5 million. Domestically, the rated-R comedy passed the $200 million mark this weekend.
Michael Mann's crime drama "Public Enemies" finished fourth with 5.3 million in five markets. Starring Johnny Depp, the film follows the adventures of American bank robber John Dillinger.
At No. 5, McG's "Terminator Salvation" brought in another $5 million, reaching an international total of $228.1 million.
Other results from the overseas box office: "The Proposal" picked up $4.2 million for a $29.5 million total; "Angels & Demons" and "Hannah Montana: The Movie" each pulled in $2.6 million; and "Up" collected another $1.8 million for a cume of $50.8 million.
