Josh Brolin may end up playing the villain in Oliver Stone's upcoming "Wall Street 2" (also known as "Money Never Sleeps"), according to Nikki Finke.
Javier Bardem was originally set to take on the role opposite Michael Douglas and Shia LaBeouf, but he recently dropped out of the project.
Finke says Brolin received an offer, and if he made a deal, "Street 2" would mark yet another collaboration between the actor and Stone. Brolin previously starred in "W."
Allan Loeb ("21") wrote the script for the sequel, which is said to start shooting soon. Brolin's got "Jonah Hex" coming up soon as well.
