Jennifer Aniston to produce 'Holler'

Jennifer Aniston will join Screen Gems to produce "Holler," a drama about racial tensions written by Dana Adam Shapiro, one of the guys who brought you "Murderball."
The Hollywood Reporter says the story is inspired by true events and follows a biracial high school student who returns to his hometown in Mississippi and falls in love with a white girl.
Things turn for the worse when he finds out she cannot hook up with him at the segregated prom. Of course, he's pretty pissed about it, and soon enough, he's immersing himself in a campaign for some much-needed change around the racist town.
"Holler" is not Aniston's first producing gig. She previously executive produced "Management," which she also starred in. She also recently wrapped "The Baster," and IMDb also has her listed as producer on "The Senator's Wife."
On the screen, Aniston will next star in "Love Happens," out in theaters Sept. 18, 2009.
