'Half-Blood Prince' collects $26M Friday

David Yates' "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" topped the North American box office Friday with an estimated $26.8 million from ticket sales at 4,325 locations.
That brings the early domestic total of the sixth installment in the popular series to a solid $107 million. "Prince" already had a great start Wednesday by setting a new midnight screening record with $22.2 million.
At No. 2, "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" took home another $5.4 million, bringing its total gross to $139.7 million. Following in third place with $4.1 million was "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," which reached a cume of $354.2 million.
Meanwhile, Sacha Baron Cohen's "Brüno" earned $2.8 million Friday. The Larry Charles-directed comedy brought its domestic total to $44 million.
Finally, Anne Fletcher's "The Proposal" pulled in $2.7 million for a cumulative gross of $122.5 million.
