Check out this sweet deleted scene from 'Watchmen'

The director's cut of Zack Snyder's "Watchmen" will be released on DVD and Blu-ray July 21, 2009, and here is a deleted scene you'll be able to find on the disc.

As you can see in the three-minute clip below, this scene centers on the death of Hollis Mason (Night Owl I), played by Stephen McHattie.

Yes, I admit I really enjoy the beauty of this scene. It's visually pleasing and backed by a great musical piece, and even though it drags a tiny bit at times, it works for me.

Check out "Watchmen" on Amazon right now to preorder your copy. The back of the disc says the director's cut will be 24 minutes longer than the theatrical version. Anyone excited about this release?

I have to disagree with you, it doesn't fit in the movie and I can see why they took it out.

I'm not saying it would have fit well. Standing alone, I enjoyed it.
