Will Liam Neeson play Hannibal in 'A-Team'?

Big "A-Team" news this week. First, we learned Bradley Cooper is now in official talks to star as Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck in Joe Carnahan's upcoming "A-Team" flick, and now Liam Neeson is apparently also in negotiations to join the project.
According to Variety, Neeson is in talks to play Col. John "Hannibal" Smith, the character portrayed by George Peppard in the original TV series. Neeson is definitely a great actor, but I'm not so sure he'd fit into the role of Hannibal.
On the other hand, I think Cooper is the perfect fit for Faceman. The remaining lead roles still to be cast are those of Capt. "Howling Mad" Murdock and Sgt. "B.A." Baracus. Any suggestions on who should play these guys?
The central plot of this big-screen version stays close to the original series - four war veterans are wrongly convicted and sent to prison, where they escape to become mercenaries helping those in need.
Glad to see this project is shaping up, although I'm still not convinced Neeson should be playing Hannibal. Neeson recently starred in Pierre Morel's vibrant thriller "Taken."

Neeson is definitely NOT right for Hannibal. Bruce Willis would be more fitting. I love Bradley Cooper, and I think he will make a perfect Faceman. Ice Cube would be great as Mr. T's character and I'm not sure who should play the helicopter pilot (not Woody Harrelson though!)
