You've heard quite a few things about the possibility of a brand-new "Scream" trilogy heading our way, but one man who hasn't said much about it was Wes Craven, who helmed the first three films.
But Craven broke the silence recently in an interview with Digital Spy. First of all, he said he's not really considering directing "Scream 4," which Kevin Williamson is currently prepping:
"What I've said to Bob (Weinstein) is I'm not closed to it, I'm not open to it, I'll be perfectly happy to read a script and tell him what I think. That's where it's at and I'm not expecting a script until August."
Craven also confirmed the return of Courteney Cox Arquette and David Arquette for a fourth movie, but he stressed they will probably the only original characters to make a comeback.
Read more about what Craven thinks about a new trilogy here. The director is currently post-producing "25/8."
