Sigourney Weaver is in talks to join Greg Mottola's upcoming comedy "Paul," about two sci-fi freaks who encounter a real alien during a road trip to Area 51. The film also stars Seth Rogen, Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Jane Lynch, Simong Pegg and Nick Frost, with Rogen set to voice the alien. Variety says Weaver's role in the film would not be announced at this stage.
Weaver also recently joined the cast of Andy Fickman's upcoming Disney comedy "You Again," about a woman who discovers her brother is about to marry the girl (Weaver plays her rich aunt) who constantly bullied her in high school. Kristen Bell also stars in the film, which Dave Johnson and Moe Jelline wrote.
Weaver recently appeared in "Vantage Point" and "Baby Mama." She also did some voice work in "WALL-E" and "The Tale of Despereaux." Upcoming projects of hers include James Cameron's "Avatar" and possibly "Ghostsbusters III."
