
Reese Witherspoon will produce and is attached to star in Universal's upcoming comedy "Pharm Girl," according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Witherspoon would play a woman who scores a job in the pharmaceutical business and slowly starts to understand how the industry really works.
Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, whose credits include "Bad Santa" and the "Bad News Bears" remake, are writing the script and are in talks to direct the project.
Witherspoon most recently starred in "Four Christmases." Her voice was also featured in "Monsters vs. Aliens." As a producer, the Oscar-winning actress worked on "Penelope," "Christmases" and "Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde."
