First poster for 'New Moon' surfaces online

First poster for The Twilight Saga: New Moon

No matter how hard I try (okay, maybe I'm not trying hard enough), I just can't get excited about this whole "Twilight" thing. I walked into the first flick hoping it would teach me what all the craziness surrounding this vampire love is all about, but to be honest, I left a little disappointed. But many people saw the flick and lots of folks seemed to like it as well, and the sequel, "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," will open Nov. 20, 2009.

A very first poster for "New Moon" has just debuted online, and you can check it out after the jump. I don't know much about the books and have no clue where the story is leading in the follow-up, but I am surprised to see the lead characters look a lot less pale on this one-sheet. Yeah, there's definitely more color in this thing. Anyway, Chris Weitz is directing the flick, and Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Dakota Fanning star.

You need to read the book to understand. It's a love story with really vivid writing. The movie doesn't give the book justice. But it's still entertaining. The movie world is doing their job. But the book completes the picture.

The rule to good journalism; know what you are talking about BEFORE you write. If this is you r best I am guessing we should not expect great things from you. Even if you despise the topic you are given write well. Someone out there cares, otherwise it would not be news.

I'm sure you're tired of reading posts from screaming fans telling you what you can and cannot say about what you write. The Twilight Sage is a phenomenon. So was/is Harry Potter - so were Nancy Drew & the Hardy Boys back in their day for that matter.

I lilked the first book, and parts of the rest of them. Let the fans have their say, but Twilight is not for everyone. Leave this journalist alone.

I am curious about the hype and it's hard to understand the the fanaticism. Everyone has their love and just like we need to respect the people who love the movies, the people who don't get it also need to have their opinion respected.

mara, first of all, this is a blog, and not a news Web site. And I say that as someone who just earned his journalism degree a couple of weeks ago. So here's the rule to good comment posting: first make sure what the site is about, and then post your complaint. Second, I solely commented on my opinion on the film (which I saw), and that is my journalistic right, especially on a blog. So do me a favor, take some journalism classes yourself, and then report back to me

YA, you are right, I mean, you can't image the messages I received calling me names just because I said I didn't like Twilight or Dragonball or whatever. It's a big circus, that's what it is:)
