'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' web reviews

The summer season at the movies has kicked off, and the first blockbuster to open is Gavin Hood's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," which stars Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Danny Huston, Taylor Kitsch and Ryan Reynolds. Here's what some of the Web's critics think about the film:
• Jeffrey M. Anderson @ Cinematical: "It's pre-planned, committee-made, audience-tested and risk-free, with no room for authentic, messy, personal emotions."
• Katey Rich @ CinemaBlend: "Wolverine is a bad, maybe even terrible movie, but it's also entertaining in its own dumb way."
• Ron Henriques @ LatinoReview: "Just about anything could have been done with the origin of Wolverine, yet even if they placed him in an environment as silly as outer space, the bottom line is that a good story was needed where the audience could emotionally connect with the character."
• Chris Bumbray @ Joblo: "While it wasn't quite the train-wreck I expected, it was still a pretty average superhero flick, and definitely not a film I'll be revisiting anytime soon."
• Collider's Matt Goldberg: "'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' is the greatest waste of potential in recent memory. It is an embarrassment to everyone involved and is the worst summer debut since 'Van Helsing.'"
• RopeOfSilicon's Brad Brevet: "Admittedly it is pretty much an entirely unnecessary story but that doesn't mean you can't get some measure of enjoyment out of it."

I thought movie was just ok. Being a fanboy myself they chopped and screwed details of many of the characters. For example, Deadpool, they totally didn't stay in continuity, but that just goes to show you about Hollywood.
Bottom line though, was this film entertaining? I'm guessing for the masses it will be, but as a fan its ok and I say that with the faintest of heart.
If your curious about the behind the scenes of the creation of Wolverine, read this interview that I did with one of its creators
