And another WWII flick is heading our way. It's titled "Red Tails," and it will star Terrence Howard, Cuba Gooding Jr., Bryan Cranston, Nate Parker, David Oyelowo, Tristan Wilds, Method Man, Lee Tergesen, Ne-Yo, Elijah Kelley, Andre Royo and Jesse Williams.
According to Variety, the plot follows a group of pilots who took a stand against racism in the military and became the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African-American fighter pilots in the U.S. military. John Ridley, screenwriter of "U Turn" and "Undercover Brother," wrote the script.
Anthony Hemingway, whose credits include episodes for "ER," "CSI: NY" and "The Wire," is set to direct the project, which George Lucas will executive produce. Lucasfilm will also back the film financially.
Terrence Howard, who starred in "Iron Man" but won't return for the sequel, can next be seen alongside Channing Tatum in "Fighting."

An author and a friend of mine, John B. Holway of Springfield, Virginia wrote a book called Black Wings Red Tails which George Lucus’ movie Red Tails, currently in production, is based on. The book is available on Amazon.com.
