Trailer for 'H2: Halloween 2' fails to impress

I count myself among those who weren't really impressed with Rob Zombie's "Halloween" remake, and to be honest, I couldn't care less about a sequel. But the film scored almost $80 million worldwide, and now we're just a few months away from the release of "H2: Halloween 2" (Aug. 28, 2009), which starts right where its predecessor left off.

The first trailer for the follow-up popped up online recently, and you can check it out after the jump. Sure, the footage looks dark and I'm sure Rombie kept his promise and turned it into an even more brutal horror show than the first film, but all in all, I'm still not really impressed by what I saw here.
