Amber Tamblyn considering 'Main Street'

Amber Tamblyn is the latest to consider joining Ellen Burstyn, Patricia Clarkson, Colin Firth and possibly Orlando Bloom in John Doyle's upcoming drama "Main Street."

The film follows a group of a small North Carolina town residents whose lives are turned upside down with the arrival of a stranger.

Doyle is directing a script by the late Horton Foote, whose credits also include "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "Of Mice and Men."

Tamblyn last starred in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2." Her credits also include "The Grudge 2" and "Joan of Arcadia."
